I’m a gal with a blog! In a fit of spontaneity (that took only 45 minute of agonizing), I decided to take the leap from being a web non-entity to being, well, a web non-entity, but slightly less so. The plan is to fall short of posting half-clever, a-quarter-insightful little jots about things that interest me: books, libraries, and the thing that one must never do while poring over a library book — drinking tea.

Great idea for a blog! I just did a post about 2 weeks ago on a list of books I recommend reading before traveling to Italy. I also love to read. I always am in the middle of a book or two; it has been one of my passions since I was tiny. Good luck!
A new blog and already freshly pressed? Congrats! Hope you meet many great people along the way.
Nice blog! I love books too.
Could you please comment on the picture on the header of your blog? Is it Bath, UK?
Keep it up!
Nope. It’s one bridge off the Ponte Vecchio in
VeniceFlorence, but now you make me want to go see its twin in Bath.Hooray! This combines two of my favorite things! Looking forward to more posts!
My mom is a librarian, and she has been drinking tea with her library books for at least 41 years (my whole life). I only remember her spilling tea on a book twice. So you should be fine for at least 20 years or so!
Thanks for the reassurance! I’m afraid to say that I probably don’t have the dexterity or mindfulness of your mother, so maybe . . . 10 years?
I just had this tea after dinner and it was so good! http://www.kusmitea.com/de/be-cool/p395/product_info.html
Thought of you
Teas and books! What could be better!!! I’m looking forward to perusing more of your posts!
Yes, I know what you mean about comments….they make blogging so much more fun! Books and tea… two of my favorite things. These days I am into the iced variety! Anything fruity. Blueberry and Mango are two of my favorites. Throw in a little mint from the garden and it is that much better!
